Preforeclosures (New Jersey and New York)

Preforeclosures are a term used to describe properties that have a Lis Pendens recorded against them at the county recorders office. The owners are usually 3 months behind in payments when this occurs and it is the first sign of a foreclosure. Lis Pendens stands for Lawsuit Pending, hence the beginning of the foreclosure action against the owner. We are currently providing Lis Pendens records for New Jersey and New York City at this time.
